View Website →Anne Timberlake has performed in 34 US states, playing repertoire from the Middle Ages to Bach to 21st-century premieres. She holds degrees in recorder performance from Oberlin Conservatory and Indiana University. Critics have described her playing as "dazzling" (Chicago Classical Review) and "preternaturally persuasive" (The Ann Arbor Observer). A Fulbright grantee, Anne won Early Music America’s Naxos Recording Competition with her ensemble Wayward Sisters. Anne is a passionate and prolific teacher, and regularly leads workshops across the United States as well as webinars and online courses. Rachel Siegel
Recorder
Rachel Siegel is a recorder player and clarinetist based in St. Louis, MO. From 2013-2017, Rachel served as a clarinetist in the "President's Own" United States Marine Band in Washington, DC. During this time, she performed Vivaldi's Recorder Concerto in C minor with the "President's Own" Chamber Orchestra. She has also performed (on clarinet) with the St. Louis Symphony, Washington National Opera, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Richmond Symphony. Starting in 2018, she began playing recorder with several orchestras, including the Philadelphia Orchestra and National Symphony Orchestra, on the Harry Potter in Concert series. This fall, Rachel can be heard on the Early Music Missouri and Kingsbury Ensembles concert series. Rachel received degrees in clarinet performance from the University of Minnesota, University of Southern California, and Rice University. In 2020, she was awarded a Fulbright to study in Helsinki, Finland. In addition to performing, Rachel works as a licensed psychotherapist at Wellness Alliance Counseling and Psychotherapy in Clayton, MO.
